Unsmoke Canada Cleanups

Every year, we grant thousands of dollars to organizations across Canada to organize litter cleanup events. In 2021, we gave $75,000 in grants to 19 organizations. Take a look at the amazing cleanups that took place, and the impact that they had by scrolling through all the locations on the map.

Terracycle Partnership

We've also made some amazing partnerships in an effort to innovate and get sustainable. For example, our partnership with TerraCycle! Alongside them, we've developed:

Unsmoke Cigarette Butt Recycling Program (cigarette butts only)

This program allows Canadians to recycle cigarette butts, getting more of the world’s most littered item out of our environment! You can read more about the national program here.

Smoke-Free Recycling program (smoke-free products)

This program ensures that Canadians can recycle ALL types of vape pods, vape devices, and heated tobacco. It’s an important step towards a circular economy, where products and materials live a longer life instead of being wasted. You can read more about the program here.

The world is changing - It’s time to change with it.

It’s possible to rid Canada of cigarettes by 2035, but all of us will have to work together to get there!
